DateReps is built so your practice stays private. We don’t save your audio or your scenes, we don’t sell your data, and we never tell ad platforms what you practiced.

What we store

Your email, your plan and its price, when you agreed to the renewal terms and confirmed you’re 18 or older, your receipt, and your billing status from Stripe.

How many voice minutes you used each month and how many AI replies you used each day, so the limits work.

Where you came from: the ad tags in the link you arrived on (UTM tags, ad and creative ids, and click ids).

Sign-in links, which work once and expire after 30 minutes.

Your program progress, so it can pick up where you left off: which lessons you finished, the days you practiced, and for each skill how your last tip rated it (strong, almost there, or focus here). Not the scenes or the tips themselves.

Anything you type into “What do you struggle with?”, with your coach’s reply, until you remove it. You can remove each one from your program page.

What stays on your device

The conversation in a scene, and your tip, live in the page and are gone when you leave it. Your partner choice, a woman or a man, is saved in this browser only, so your next scene starts with it.

Voice and AI

In a voice scene, your microphone audio streams from your browser to our voice provider, OpenAI, so your partner can answer and both sides can be transcribed. DateReps doesn’t record or keep the audio or the transcript.

When you type a line or ask for a tip, the conversation passes through our server to OpenAI to write the reply or the tip, and we don’t keep it. What you told us you struggle with goes along, so the tip can speak to it. OpenAI handles API data under its own retention policy.

When you tell your coach what you struggle with, those words go to OpenAI to write the reply.

Ads and analytics

When analytics are on, PostHog counts page views and steps such as opening a scene or starting checkout. Ad platforms (TikTok and Meta) get the steps that measure ads: viewing plans, starting checkout, and a purchase with its price. Your email is hashed before it’s sent to them.

Analytics and ad platforms never get what you said, your tips, what you told us you struggle with, or your partner choice.

Who processes your data

Stripe for payments, OpenAI for voice and AI replies, Supabase for our database, Resend for email, and PostHog, TikTok and Meta for analytics and ads when they’re on. Each gets only what its job needs.

Your choices

Ask for a copy of your data, or for us to delete it, at support@talkreps.app. We reply within 2 business days.

DateReps is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have.
